| Mets Exercise Moises Alou Option
The Mets have picked up Moises Alou's 2008 option, bringing back the veteran left fielder next year. Alou's option was for $7.5 million. He only played in just over 80 games last year but he was a big producer when healthy. He hit .341 with 49 RBI last season.
A good and expected move from us.
Also, the Mets have re-signed Damion Easley. His 2007 season ended prematurely when he was injured running the bases in August. Another good move, Easley proved to be a solid presence off the bench. |
