| Mets Billy Berroa Passed Away Long-time Mets Spanish radio announcer Billy Berroa passed away Wednesday evening in the Dominican Republic. He was 79-years old and was battling a long illness. According to the MLB.com report, Berroa has been broadcasting games since 1963. His funeral was held Friday morning.      |
