| I watch very few Mets games but the end of this one actually caught my attention. This is a brutal and awful loss. I really think the Mets are going to lose this division. The funny part? The Mets fans had a lot to say in May and June when the Yankees looked as if they weren't going to make the playoffs. |

| Re: Mets Bow Out in Miami Extra Innings The Mets should have unloaded Milledge when he was worth something, but now everyone can see he is undisciplined and is going to be trouble. Meanwhile, they can do nothing right, not even run the bases. Still, the Phillies never seem to be able to win that one game when they have to. Mets will hold on.

| Re: Mets Bow Out in Miami Extra Innings legend, Milledge is still a commodity to the Mets. He provides great defense in the OF, great speed and when he can play consistantly, he has some pop in his bat. During the playoffs, he'll be a great addition in the late innings (along with Endy Chavez and Marlon Anderson). Billy Wagner also had back spasms which is why he wasn't available last night. Don't know if he'll be available tonight. The Mets do have one more game to play than the Phillies so they have that on their side. But they must pitch better and beat the Marlins and Nationals. |
