| Mets MUST WIN in Philly The Mets are on a four game losing streak and are on the verge of being swept in Philly today. Heading into play today, the Mets have a division lead of just 3 games over the Phillies.
If the Phillies can sweep the Mets, their confidence will be a shooting star (if it alreadn't isn't). Not to mention the Mets would head down to Atlanta for a three game series doubting themselves.
Today Orlando Hernandez takes the mound (the last Mets starter to win a game) against Kyle Lohse.
Last night the Mets lost the game after Marlon Anderson was ruled as interfering with Tad Iguchi as he attempted to turn a double play. Ironically, it looked as if Marlon didn't need to push Iguchi as Shawn Green was going to beat the throw (and Endy Chavez was scoring the tying run). |
