| Re: NL EAST Division Title The Mets have a couple of series against Atlanta in the near future that will go a long way in determining if they have what it takes to break the Braves' hold on the division. They historically have been bad against Atlanta, especially in Turner Field. If they can win these series and open up a good sized lead this early, they are going to coast to the division title. They will play loose with a big lead and I just don't see the Phillies with enough pitching to be a serious challenge to win the division. Mets by 8 games! |

| Re: NL EAST Division Title Prediction: Braves smoke the Mets seven games to two before May 7th (yes, i know six of those games are in New York) and, as is their usual wont, cruise through the National League East, maybe with 95 wins. The Mets, however, having won o, say, 88 are in as the wild card. As is the rule in baseball today, the wild card team must be in the World Series and should be considered the prohibitive favorite unless their opponent is also a wild card. Therefore, the Mets win the pennant! The Mets win the pennant! They could even face the Yanks in the 'Series. And win.

| Re: NL EAST Division Title The lowly Braves rotation will be going up against Pedro tonight, Zambrano tomorrow (ugh) and Glavine on Wednesday. Glavine has been gold so far and he should finally be able to face his former team with no worries. |

| Re: NL EAST Division Title Pedro and the Mets beat the Braves, 4-3. Here goes another "Wizard" of Os prognostication down the tubes, i can see it now... Tip for gamblers: Note what i say and bet against it. You'll win ninety percent of the time, but only on the weather, sports and politics. I'd like a ten percent contribution, if you don't mind. Cheers, all (and go Braves!) |
