Easley to DL?

According to the Associated Press, "New York Mets first baseman Damion Easley left Saturday night's game against the Washington Nationals in the sixth inning after a grade-three sprain to his left ankle that will likely force him to the disabled list." He's due for an MRI tomorrow. Who replaces him if he goes on the DL? Is Delgado healthy enough to come back?

Re: Easley to DL?

I saw it live, it was nasty to say the least. There's some talk that he could be gone for a long time (perhaps miss the rest of the season). There may be ligament damage, which is never good.

With him on the DL (and Castro went on yesterday, they brought up Sandy Alomar Jr.), I can't think of anyone off the top of my head who they can bring up and fill the need. Perhaps Minaya will look to make a deal.
