Mets Single Season Stolen Base Record

The Mets season single stolen base record is held by Roger Cedeno with 66 (the year he was teammates with none other than Ricky Henderson). Jose Reyes stole two bases Thursday night to make it to 60.

It looks like Jose Reyes will carve his place in Mets history, as soon as this week.

Wow, for a team that has had both Vince Coleman and Ricky Henderson, that's a shocker.

Reyes now has the record with 67 steals this year (plus however many more he can get in the final month plus).

He stole three times last night against the Padres.
