MetsBlog says Pedro Martinez threw in a simulated game down at Port St. Lucie earlier today. He threw about 50 pitches.

Depending on how his body does in the coming days, he could shortly begin his minor league rehab stint. It's believed that it will take at least a month before he could then join the big league Mets.

So were looking at late august for Pedro returning to the Mets...i'm watching the game now and Jorge Sosa is stinking up the place. We need Pedro ASAP!!!
