Lo Duca Comments on Baseball Future

From MetsBlog, Lo Duca was on a California radio station when he was asked about the upcoming off-season in which he'll become a free-agent. He has informed the Mets that he is interested in staying however, Omar Minaya has said he will not negotiate during the season. This is all leading most to believe Lo Duca's time in Queens is slowly coming to an end. Anyway, here's what's Lo Duca said to the radio station:

Quote:
At the end of this year, me and my agent are gonna sit down and decide, you know. I would love to come back and play for the Mets. I’ve voiced my opinion there. If it happens it happens, if it doesn’t I’m gonna have to look some place else, and, yeah, Anaheim would be a great choice. I’m good friends with the whole coaching staff from over there…that’d be a good choice.

It looks as though Lo Duca will not be in New York in 2008.

Cool Re: Lo Duca Comments on Baseball Future

Lo Duca is a strange bird...I think the Mets have had enough of him.
