| Re: Mets First Half Review Alou was ana wful signing, just because you know he will be on the DL all year. Pedro will never pitch again in my opinion, and if he does, it won't be for long. |

As for Pedro, he's already been pitching (albeit as part of his rehab) but I don't see why anyone would doubt whether he can ever return to the majors. |

As for Pedro, from what I have been reading, he will get back to the majors, but he will not be the same pitcher. He supposedly has lost a lot off his fastball. Hopefully he can learn how to be more of a pitcher. I always liked him. I would like to see him a few more years.

| Re: Mets First Half Review Alou I believe was signed to a one year deal which is why I had no problem with the signing. As for Pedro, Newsday reported last week he threw a 50 pitch simulated game. He will resume his rehab this week and could begin rehab starts ASAP. He's right on track. Pedro is a pitchers pitcher. He's a master of the craft and he has such great control over his pitches. If anything after getting "fixed", he should be even better. |
