As for Pedro, from what I have been reading, he will get back to the majors, but he will not be the same pitcher. He supposedly has lost a lot off his fastball. Hopefully he can learn how to be more of a pitcher. I always liked him. I would like to see him a few more years.

| Re: Mets First Half Review Alou I believe was signed to a one year deal which is why I had no problem with the signing. As for Pedro, Newsday reported last week he threw a 50 pitch simulated game. He will resume his rehab this week and could begin rehab starts ASAP. He's right on track. Pedro is a pitchers pitcher. He's a master of the craft and he has such great control over his pitches. If anything after getting "fixed", he should be even better. |
