It's been raining cats and dogs here in NY on and off since earlier this evening. In the midst of the rain, the Mets and Phillies played through five and a half innings of ball. The Mets led 2-0 at that point when the game was called. It will go in the books as the 297th win for Tom Glavine.

The lone run producing hit came off the bat of David Wright who belted a two-run dinger in the bottom of the first.
