Mets Offense Rises
In the start of a 10-game home stand, against Carlos Silva and the Twins, through 8 innings, the Mets have picked up 15 hits. Carlos Beltran only has one in five at bats, but it was a frozen rope double.

A game like this is just what the doctor ordered. Btw, John Maine started and went 7.1 innings and only allowed one run on four hits.
