In the Yankee series that's ongoing now, Jose Reyes has stolen 5, count'em 5 bases against Jorge Posada. Three in last nights ballgame and through 3 innings, another two this afternoon.

It's a proven fact when Reyes gets on base and runs around, the Mets win. Reyes is doing his part.

Now what is truly amazing about Reyes is he doesn't have a carpet to run on...I remeber Coleman going to the Mets from the Cards and he never came near 100 steals again.

Lately Jose Reyes could steal enough bases to be wanted by the police and the Mets would still continue their nosedive as the Braves will begin to move closer to 1st place.
