| David Wright...Overrated??? I'm sorry but consider the facts that David Wright might not quite be the second coming of A-Rod. Yes he hits well for average but it's his power that's overrated in my book. Do you ever think he'll be a 30 homerun guy? Frankly i'm beginning to have my doubts, no homers in 2007 and he strikes out A LOT!!! |

| Re: David Wright...Overrated??? I've seen the Mets of late as being a streaky group of hitters. It seems like they take turns getting hot. Right now Reyes has been amazing. Maybe in a few weeks DWright will start cranking em out. That being said, it's not like he's not hitting the ball at all. I think I'd rather have good, solid hitters than people who are hitting for the fences all the time. |

| Re: David Wright...Overrated??? OVerrated? your right the guy hits for average ill take that john olerude(SP?) his carrer was the same way and to me people underrated him. Wright is young, the k's will come down with more plate expierence, two years isnt enough plate expierence and yes 30-35 hrs will be about what he hits but remember isnt that what mike schmidt did in the non steroid era???? Thats what baseball will slowly become a non steroid era again. Wright will be the number 2 3b for awhile only cause arod is around. I def think there is no one better then him tho besides arod

A greater feat than in other organizations, such as the Diamondbacks. How long do you think that he will be able to keep this streak alive? |
