Tom Glavine vs. Jamie Moyer

Tonight, it's Tom Glavine for the Mets against Jamie Moyer for the Phillies in the rubber game of the series. The two ageless lefties have never pitched against each other (I believe). They're both wise vets so it should be an interesting game.

The Phil's won last night after Oliver Perez was taken out early in the game after walking seven batters.

Rumor has it that neither catcher will use a mitt.

LMAO, good one.

Anyways this is a interesting matchup. I think Glavine will outpitch Moyer, just a matter of if the Mets' bats can back him up.

4-3, favoring the Mets in the bottom of the 7th.

In six innings, Glavine gave up four hits but also three runs. While striking out four unlucky batter, he walked three. Sadly, this was not of his better appearances on the mound. However, he may still walk away with the win in this one.

And he did, beating the Phillies and Jamie Moyer 5-3, its his 292th win so I think he will make 300 in about 2 months, Im looking foward to it.
