Lastings Milledge Injury
On Sunday afternoon, Milledge was struck in the left hand while at bat. He was in considerable amounts of pain as he went straight to the floor. After x-rays, the team has revealed no bone fractures. He only has a contusion and is listed as day-to-day.

WOOOOOOOH..../sigh of relief

Milledge is expected to start the season on the major league squad while Mike Pelfrey is in Triple-A. The reason being the Mets won't need a fifth starter for about two weeks.
