Mets Retain Coaching Staff
It's been announced, the Mets coaching staff has all been retained. Pitching coach Rick Peterson is under contract until after the 2009 season. Bench coach Jerry Manuel, bullpen coach Guy Conti, catching instructor Tom Nieto and batting coach Rick Down have all agreed to new two-year deals as well.

Great news, especially that Peterson is sticking around.
