| Delgado May Miss Start of 2007 Season Word came out today Carlos Delgado's wife is scheduled to give birth to their child around April 1st, the first day of the MLB 2007 Season. That night, the Mets will play the Cardinals in St. Louis. Delgado told reporters today, "My child comes first." That sigh of relief you may have heard, was me. When I first saw the headline, I thought he was hurt. Thankfully, he's fine and will be welcoming a child into the world. Best wishes to the Delgado family       |
