Mussina to Mets?

Mike Mussina to the NY Mets? Could happen, according to the New York Post. "Mussina has told friends the Mets would be a welcome option if the Yankees don't want him back," the paper reported today. "And the Mets will be interested in the veteran right-hander when he becomes a free agent in less than two weeks." So, what do you guys think of this rumor?

Re: Mussina to Mets?

As a met fan i dont particularly want Mussina. The mets are finally getting away from their habit of importing players that were stars in the past. Mussina is now 38 and while he may have a couple good seasons still left in him the mets are better off developing young talent
