For some odd reason, La Russa isn't starting So Taguchi. The only reason I've heard why he wouldn't be (from a St. Louis writer) is La Russa may want him on the bench in case he needs to get a hit of Wagner.

Tonight, the Cards are playing yet again with two banged up guys in Edmonds and Rolen. Preston Wilson is starting in LF, too.
