| Re: Mets Backs Against The Wall - NLCS GAME 6 Loved that New rookie pitcher( John Maine) that started in Game six for the Mets. He looks like someone who can work under pressure. Will be interesting to see how he turns out. |

| Re: Mets Backs Against The Wall - NLCS GAME 6 John Maine can get the job done. I would have rather had him on the mound tonight instead of an unsteady, Oliver Perez. The only con of Maine's performance was the number of jams he got himself into. But facing the Cardinals with Albert Pujols, Scott Rolen, Jim Edmonds and Scott Spiezo is never an easy match-up. |

| Re: Mets Backs Against The Wall - NLCS GAME 6 I missed the 1st part of the game (looong day) but the last couple innings have been not much excitement, a pitchers duel. 1-1 going into the bottom of the 8th now.

| Re: Mets Backs Against The Wall - NLCS GAME 6 Who'd have thought it come down to a pitcher's duel....in the National League this year!! Cards v. Tigers.....again. This is the fifth (?) time these two will meet. I believe it was '34 & '35, then '67 & '68....am I missing any? |
