Great look back on the Mets 1969 World Series triumph. As the article says, it was 37 years ago today that New York clinched the baseball championship. With it looking more and more likely that the Mets will be returning to the Series this season, what do you guys think about the '69 victory?

I wasn't around back then lol, but from what I can gather, those Miracle Mets came out of literally nowhere to win the Series. For the seven years prior, the Mets were a joke of a team and consistantly losing. But it all changed that season.
