Earlier today, manager Willie Randolph
made official the playoff rotation for the Mets, to begin next Tuesday or Wednesday. Pitching game one will be Orlando "El Duque" Hernandez. Game two will be started by Tom Glavine. Both will be at Shea Stadium.
Pedro Martinez's status for the series wasn't discussed so we don't know if he'll get a start later in the series, or if he'll be left off the NLDS roster. In that case, John Maine would be guaranteed to get a start. It's expected that Steve Trachsel will start Game Three on the road, but Pedro could take that spot.
