| Mets Tab New Orleans New Triple-A Team The Mets long standing relationship with the Norfolk Tides has officially ended. Since the late 1960s, Norfolk has been home to the Mets Triple-A affiliate in the International League. Now, the Mets triple-a team will be the New Orleans Zephyrs of the Pacific Coast League. The Tides are expected to switch and join the Baltimore Orioles organization. MetsBlog had the story first this afternoon when it wasn't confirmed at the time. Here's a link to the AP story.      |
