Now he sicked the police on reporters trying to cover a circus that he has masquerading as a basketball team.

Wow, that's an unbelivable story. I can't believe the police honored his request!

Re: Dolan's a disgrace

you know i use to be a die hard knick fan in alot of ways i still am. But i kinda feel like a clipper fan 15 years ago im just embarrased to admit im a knick fan. Dolan is the main reason for this he destoryed the knicks and luckily the rangers mangment got him to keep his non-midas hands off of them

Welcome to GoTeamsGo, mervinout, and thanks for joining us!

Looking at this and thinking about the Royals, the Penguins, and some of the other sad sacks out there, do you guys think the Knicks are the worst run franchise in sports right now?

Re: Dolan's a disgrace

You can say the same thing about the Yankees too, mervinout. Except, the Yankees actually win.

The Knicks situation right now is just a non-stop disaster. They cannot solve their problems and they have tried most of the possible solutions. Do you know how many players they went through over the past five years? What ever happened to Antonio McDyess, Dikembe Mutombu, Keith Van Horn and all the players they thought would make a difference in the team.

This whole mess started a few years ago. Now it has accumulated to the point in which fans stopped supporting the Knicks and have turned against them. Are you considering that as a last resort?

but id rather have them keep the contracts of people like penny who are in their last year then trading for these overrated and overaged veterens, rather see them get under the cap for the first time since the cap was insituted. Rather see them not trade their first round pick without lottery protection to get a guy with a heart problem id rather see them do what the rangers did keep the key vets who can teach and get the young guns goin. Id rather lose young and inexperienced thent o lose with high salary and with gys who had all the talent in the world but couldnt prove it

Well, as somebody once said, "It's not THAT you spend money. It's HOW you spend money." Investment quality, folks. In that regard, the Yankees are light years ahead of the Knicks.

That is a very good quote, Lefty Noob. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us.

I am not sure if you were aware, but Penny Hardaway was getting paid a ridiculous amount of money for sitting on the bench. At least, Steve Francis played a few games for the Knicks. In truth, he was worth more than the Penny Hardway of 2006.

Steve Francis may be overrated and overaged but he is still a decent player. Penny Hardaway (who I am a personal fan of) is honestly a washed-up baller. He has no business playing the NBA and he should've retired earlier in his career. He was an expensive waste for the Knicks, along with many other players.

Re: Dolan's a disgrace

how many wins you think francis brought to this team with the second worst record, and now penny's contract has expired and we still have francis and we will always trade expiring contracts likke penny for people like malik rose, francis, and many others like that

Re: Dolan's a disgrace

Dolan doesn't care about winning, he simply cares about making money via ticket sales. The Knicks are an attraction (along with attending games @ MSG) so tix never don't sell. That's the problem. If people wouldn't buy tix, then he'd get the message.

Re: Dolan's a disgrace

Since New York City is a prime tourist location, I bet you that most of the people who attend their games are from out of town. Sure you might have the season ticket holders, but they are too embarrased to appear in the stands rooting for their home-team. It is just a horrible dilemna for the Knicks and their fans.

Welcome to GoteamsGo Mervinout. I agree with you totally about Dolan. But is it really surprising? Here's a guy who has never accomplished anything in life except working for his father and was given the Knicks and Rangers to run the same way my father would buy me a Knicks jersey for my birthday.

Re: Dolan's a disgrace

What angers me most above else is the fact that you see all these All-Star caliber players are prime to be traded...yet the Knicks will have no chance to acquire any of them.

Jermaine O'Neal, Shawn Marion, Ben Wallace, among others are potential movers this off-season.

Brown has been telling friends he's expecting he'll be asked to leave...IE...he'll be fired. Can't believe it...a year ago, MSG was all smiles. What a sad joke!
