apparently LeBron James is due to be a free agent in 2010 .... by then the Knicks will have over $20 million off the books with Marbury gone

will LeBron go to the Knicks when the time comes ?

i think it is a move the League offices would love and be behind 100% .... New York is a much larger market then Cleveland ...... and to have L.A., Boston, New York, New Orleans and Detroit all good at the same time would be huge

Well, I think the odds are pretty good. Supposedly that's the reason D'Antoni was brought in in the first place.
Of course, if Cleveland can get a title or two between now and then, who knows?

i dont think james will come... First of all danilo gallinari is already knicks (sf). why would they need james... they should go for Chris bosh and a better point guard. For the past few years the knicks drafted mostly (sf).....

I hope you're kidding. I mean, if you've got a shot at LeBron, you take it and then tweak the rest of the pieces to fit him, right?
LeBron James is the kind of guy you build a team around. If the Knicks have a shot to acquire him, they simply cannot afford to pass on it.
