Ok well if the Knicks finished so bad then they must have a high draft pick right? Anyone on the horizon that could be the next star to build a team around? Also who is going to stay and who is going to leave? Rose, Francis? Marbury? Richardson? Why do I feel like something aint right here?

Hey trashed. They had a high draft pick but it now belongs to Chicago. Prior to the season, Isiah Thomas traded it for Eddie Curry who is not worth a 10th round pick much less a lottery pick. All those other guys you mention are untradable because they all make too much money so the Knicks couldn't give them away for nothing.

Good God! Im a basketball novice and living in NYC I see the back of the Daily News and listening to the brilliant WFAN callers screaming at the Knick disaster but I never thought it was this bad!!! What? Did they have the worst record in the NBA or something???

Trashed, the Knicks future is as glim as you could possibly imagine, and worse. They traded their 1st round pick this year to the Bulls for Curry. They had a good shot at the #1 pick, but that will go to the Bulls. Get this, Chicago has the ability to take the Knicks 1st round pick next year too...

The Knicks will likely buy out/trade either Marbury or Francis. They'll have to use the cap exemption to sign someone, and trading is the only way they can bring someone in.

However, Isiah Thomas has sent the team to the pitfalls of salary cap hell.
