Re: Larry Brown Hospitalized!

Stomach problems yesterday, chest pains in February, a hip replacement before that, an ongoing bladder problem, and a team full of players who really don't seem to want him there. I don't think he comes back next season.

Re: Larry Brown Hospitalized!

Conventional wisdom would imply that Larry Brown is not coaching The Knicks next season, or anyone else for that matter.

Re: Larry Brown Hospitalized!

Larry knew what he was getting into but wanted the extra $10 mil and more over the next few years. Who knows if he'll return.

Herb Williams couldn't do worse.

Re: Larry Brown Hospitalized!

The AP's reporting that he's most likely out for the rest of this season with the stomach ailment. I still think he's going to call it a career - his health is failing, and really, how much money does one guy need?

Re: Larry Brown Hospitalized!

I don't think it's a question that Brown has coached his last NBA game. What a way to cap off a season.

Re: Larry Brown Hospitalized!

What do you guys think about the report floating around that the Knicks took out insurance on Brown's deal, so that they're off the hook financially for the rest of his contract should the coach have to resign due to health issues?

Cool Re: Larry Brown Hospitalized!

A few days ago when he went into the hospital, I actually was thinking that they probably had insurance on him. I mean with his health problems, they'd be crazy not to. I mean you're talking about a 50 million dollar investment. So I absolutely believe that they did it. Dolan's Daddy ( the real man who built Cablevision) probably told his sonny boy to do it. He's too incompetent to have known on his own
