Stephon Marbury injured his left knee in yesterday's loss to the Sixers. The injury, coupled with Larry Browns comments that he no longer felt that Marbury could play point guard full-time, pretty much seals the deal on his Knicks career. Brown wants to get a "classic" point guard during the offseason, with top candidates being Speedy Claxton, Eric Snow, Brevin Knight and Steve Blake.

Wow this was/is an awful season for the Knicks. Everything that could go wrong did.

Why should the Knicks search for a starting point-guard? They have already paid huge contracts for point-guards Steve Francis and Jamal Crawford. Why don't they save money for once and play with what they have.

Welcome to GoTeamsGo MJH MArk - Agreed. First of all nobody's taking Marbury off their hands. He's still owed something like 60 million. Thomas has made all bad moves. If he tries to get players in here, it'll just make things worse.

No new contracts. Just play with the players that are there. And when the stink clears out in 4 years, the Knicks can start over with a new GM, coach and roster.
