The New York Knicks were eliminated from playoff contention with yesterday's 100-86 loss to the New Jersey Nets. Coach Isiah Thomas called it "disappointing... I am proud of the way the guys have competed. We've got three games left. We'll keep working, we'll keep competing." So what do these guys need to do to take the next step and become a playoff team?

I don't know all the cap space implications, but Marbury and Francis being gone would be a great start. Marbury will never win anything and Francis is even worse. Thomas as coach is much better than Thomas as coach and GM. No Thomas is even better than that.

The Knicks love Marbury because of his clutch shots. However, none of his other shots are good.

I like them both (head cases that they are... )...but really, does a team need booth of these headaches in the backcourt?...there will never be team chemistry with these two...having said that, I enjoyed watching Steve-O play as a Magic...bad for the team...fun to watch.

Isiah is proud of the way the team competed? The team is 16 games under .500 in a weak division. Until Isiah goes, they will never be successful.
