Cool Knicks lose to the Sonics at MSG

Ray Allen was the best player on the court and dealt the Knicks playoff hopes a serious blow as the Sonics won 100-99. If the Knicks were to make the playoffs, this is a team they have to beat at home. It's just as well. If they played the Pistons in the first round they wouldn't win a game.

The Knicks have a great chance to make the playoffs, eddy curry needs to step his game up a little bit. No doubt that Marbury has stepped his game, although that was a tough miss at the end. As for winning a game in the playoffs that is very unlikely considering that they will be playing the pistons.

How do you figure? Here's the rest of their schedule and whether they will probably win or lose.

10 - at Washington, 7:00 PM - L
14 - at Toronto, 7:00 PM - L
16 - vs. New Orleans/Okla City, 7:30 PM - W
18 - vs. Toronto, 12:00 PM - W
20 - vs. Dallas, 7:30 PM -L
22 - vs. Portland, 7:30 PM -W
23 - at Cleveland, 7:30 PM -L
26 - vs. Orlando, 7:30 PM-W
28 - vs. Cleveland, 7:30 PM-L
30 - at Dallas, 8:30 PM-L
31 - at New Orleans/Okla City, 8:00 PM-L

April
-----

4 - vs. Philadelphia, 7:30 PM -W
6 - vs. Minnesota, 7:30 PM -L
7 - at Milwaukee, 8:30 PM -L
9 - vs. Detroit, 7:30 PM-L
10 - at Chicago, 8:30 PM -L
13 - at New Jersey, 7:30 PM-L
15 - at Toronto, 6:00 PM-L
16 - vs. New Jersey, 7:30 P -W
18 - at Charlotte, 7:00 PM-W

Is 35-47 going to get them in? Even if you give them another win or 2. Let's say 37-45? Is that good enough? And even if it is, do you really think they have any chance of winning a game in the playoffs?

yea but when you compare it to the schedule of the orlando magic, they have games a much tougher schedule, as well as the NJ nets have a much tougher schedule, if they play well and win the games versus orlando, and NJ they should be in.

The way things are going for the Knicks, they will creep into the playoffs and they will give Thomas an extension.
