Knicks allow 27 consecutive points vs. Heat

Wow, this is embarrassing. The New York Knicks surrendered 27 consecutive points to the Miami Heat on Monday night, ultimately losing 101-83. According to the Associated Press, "Miami raced to a 29-3 lead after 8 1/2 minutes. The Knicks missed 10 consecutive shots as their 3-2 lead became a 26-point deficit, while the Heat started 13-for-19 and outscored New York 14-0 in the paint at the outset."

27 points in a row. They're getting better, huh?

Re: Knicks allow 27 consecutive points vs. Heat

Did anyone mention that Wade and needless to say, Shaq, were not playing? This would have to be the low point in the franchise's history, except for the day Dolan took it over and the day he hired Thomas. Does Jared Jeffries, their big off-season acquisition, even get off the bench anymore? This will be looked back on as the ultimate beginning of the end for Thomas, a day that cannot arrive fast enough.
