| Re: Isiah wants Curry to toughen up Eddy Curry will never be a tough, nasty center. It's something you either are or you aren't, it's not a learned quality. Curry has the unimaginable quality of being a 7 footer who can dissapear in the paint and be ineffective. For the Knicks to do anything noteworthy this year, Curry has got to be a force. In practice, Thomas has been working with Curry and Marbury and trying to build some chemistry between the two. Thomas was talking about some moves Chamberlain use to pull on him and showing Curry some. |

| Re: Isiah wants Curry to toughen up Chamberlain retired in 1973, Thomas came into the league in1982. he must have meant Jabbar. Thomas is just now figuring out that Curry is soft? Maybe he should have asked the 19,000 a game that come watch the stiff play if he wasn't sure.

| Re: Isiah wants Curry to toughen up Anybody ever watch Larry Smith play?...Mr. Mean...I remember someone once saying of Larry, "One day he will go up for a rebound and come down with someone elses head." I got to agree...its something you are born with. BTW, anyone see Francis get 39 points the other day?...Is he gonna fit into the team? IS there a team?...or a lose collection of players?... |
