I didn't realize Pennington was as healthy as he was when camp started. I don't think there was any chance that anyone but he would start. For his sake, I hope he can remain healthy for 16 games.

Chad is by far the better of the two...when he is not out...its not even a close contest...I saw where my boy Clemens faltered this week....bummer...

Pennington is not the answer

they needed to spend that 1st round pick on a QB

as long as they count on Chad they wont even get a wild card

I have always thought that Pennington was just an average QB. He was nothing special, but a saving-grace to the Jets when Vinny Testaverde got injured a few years back. Testaverde would've had a horrible season, as usual.

Chad Pennington hasn't looked that good in the pre-season games, but as they always say, "It is only the pre-season." I don't think that is the matter in this case, because Pennington is fighting for a starting-job as the quarterback. I think he can do a good job if he stays healthy and returns back to playing well and not sloppy. I've always noticed that he never really throws long bombs but short flops to Curtis Martin.

Did you see Kevan Barlow fumble, last night? I hope I won't see any more of that this season.
