After watching Brett's Jets win a thriller in New England to grab first place in the tough AFC East, it's hard not to wonder how the heck this team lost to the Raiders earlier in the season. But things are coming together for the Jets, and how happy is RB Thomas Jones with Brett Favre in town? With his ex-teammate in 2007, the vertically-passing challenged Chad Pennington, Jones faced eight-man fronts weekly and scored just two touchdowns all season. This year Jones already has tied his career high with nine scores, and his 4.5 yards per carry marks the second-best average of his career. THIS WEEK: at Titans (10-0)

This is a no brainer ... Titans by a wide margin. The Jet's rose 8 spots in the power rankings but they'll be back down after this "event".

If the Jets win this game then the whole NFL will take notice of them and a lot of folks will be predicting them to go to the Super Bowl. Having said that I'll still give it to the Titans because of that vicious defense. The Titans win the AFC award for playing like an NFC team.

at first glance, I thought this was laughable. Titans are the No. 1 team in their conference.
But check the stats, Tenn. is 3rd in total defense and 9th in total offense.
Jets are 7th in total defense and 5th in total offense.
Break the numbers down more and you discover these teams arent really that far apart.
For no other reason than to pick the underdog, I too will go with the Jets.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Titans are unbeaten no more. Brett Favre and the New York Jets served notice they will be a factor in the AFC this season.
Favre threw two touchdown passes, Leon Washington ran for two scores and the Jets routed the Titans 34-13 on Sunday, snapping the 13-game regular-season winning streak by the NFL's last undefeated team.The Jets (8-3) came in atop the AFC East after a victory over New England at Foxborough. They have won five straight for the first time since October 2004 and seven of their last eight. The win also pulled them within two of Tennessee (10-1) with five to play in the race for home-field advantage through the playoffs.
The Titans hadn't lost since Dec. 16, 2007, in becoming only the 11th team since 1970 to win its first 10 games.

actually the jets signed #4 so they could be a superbowl contender so they are exactly where they thought they would be after the move for the future hall of famer.and congrats to the jets they played a good game and i hope to see a rematch in the play-offs
