Favre has sprained ankle

QB Brett Favre sprained his ankle in the game Monday night against the Chargers. Will it disrupt his streak of 87,456 consecutive starts?
"Brett usually plays," coach Mangini said, " and I would anticipate the same."
Xrays were negative but will age keep him from coming back as quicklly as he once did.
The NFL's other gray bearded quarterback in Arizona would love a chance to show he's every bit as good as Favre.

ProFootballTalk.com - FAVRE HAS A SPRAINED ANKLE

Even if it just means Favre will miss out on practice time, it will hurt. He and his receivers need all the time they can get.
