The Jets have place disgruntled TE Chris Baker on the PUP list along with LB Jason Trusnik.
Baker, angry when the Jets refused to renegotiate his contract, missed a portion of minicamp when he tweaked his back. He was fined by the team for missing an injury treatment session.
Baker's agent Jonathan Feinsold replied no comment when asked if it was expected or related to the contract dispute. A team spokesman confirmed that it was not contract related.

Baker claims the Jets had promised his former agent before last season they would look into his contract. Team denies that.

Not for nothing but I feel that Chris Baker is getting screwed the same way Pete Kendall did last year. Both are great players and you saw how the Jets offensive line played without Kendall. Sometimes it seems the New York Jets are run by the Marx Brothers. They will never win a Super Bowl as their neighbors in Giants Stadium did. Never.
