Question is, is it the players or the team? Two other players besides Baker have contended that the Jets promised them a new deal later and then reneged. One was WR Laveranues Cole and the other was Pete Kendall. Cole got his contract redone and Kendall was traded.

Exactly. Seems like the Jets ownership is getting just a smidge tight-fisted here with their players.
