Question Project Mangini: How Long Before We Win...Big!

Eric Mangini is pretty much putting the Jets together the way his mentor put the Pats together. His first concern is the O-Line. Smart move as its critical of any football team (see 90s Cowboys and Broncos). He also signed some free agents who werent past their prime but not kids either like Patrick Ramsey. In my opinion with a full training camp, even battling for a starting job (which he'll win!) Ramsey is a very good QB who could take the Jets to the playoffs. Now not in 2006 cuz the draft picks have to get experienced and other holes need to be filled like big playmakers on offense, runningbacks and a physical big wideout. Defensively they need a backfield but theyll get it and some of the free agents Mangini brought in might surprise us. Could be in the playoffs in 2007 being really optimistic but more likely 2008. Ramsey (if they stick with him) will be 29 and they could be poised to do something big depending whos on their roster. Hang on guys its rebuilding time so lets watch our children grow and be proud!

Sing with me now:

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!

Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!

When I'm stuck a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh!

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow! Tomorrow!
I love ya Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
A way!

...The Jets dreams are only a day a way...

That's the spirit! Take a look at The Brick Wall D'Brickshaw and I promise well all have reason to sing! Whos with me? Can we sing "Living After Midnight" by Judas Priest instead though? I can get the lyrics!

Re: Project Mangini: How Long Before We Win...Big!

Here's what you asked for, Trashed.

"Living after midnight, rockin to the dawn
Lovin til the morning, then Im gone, Im gone

I took the city bout one a.m, loaded, loaded
Im all geared up to score again, loaded, loaded
I come alive in the neon light
Thats when I make my moves right

Living after midnight, rockin to the dawn
Lovin til the morning, then Im gone, Im gone"

At least we shouldn't have a quarterback problem with a "Brick Wall" protecting them. I'm expecting a good year even though the Jets let go of a lot of defensive stars. But I didn't like John Abraham anyway (he had a spoiled personality).

I hate the #6! It looks like a poor man's 9. Couldnt Kellen Clemens pick another jersey number? Damn that makes me mad! Visions of Bubby Brister are passing through my head.
