Why are the Jets rebuilding with players either in or past their prime? Shouldn't they be going after young players? I just don't get what Mangini is trying to accomplish with these signings. What's the timetable here or is there one? Seems like Mangini learned the art of rebuilding from Isiah Thomas.

bad deal for the jets. franks is just plain overrated. the last few years ive seen him drop more balls than he caught

I dont think he's overrated. I dont think he's rated much at all. You are right though. He just drops too many. Kind of slow too. He was pretty good once.
