Jets Sign RB Jessie Chatmen

NEW YORK -- The New York Jets signed free-agent running back Jesse Chatman to a one-year deal Sunday.

Chatman, out of football in 2006, ran for a career-high 515 yards and a touchdown for Miami last season and caught 27 passes for 161 yards

He might be a decent third-down back, but he's not gonna set the world on fire or make the Jets instant contenders. They need to do more.

He sure hurt the Jets as a Dolphin for that one game. Guess Mangini liked what he saw but where does this leave Washington?
