How old is Jenkins again? The Jets are in total rebuilding so I think that means a lot. Boy the Jets have a lot of holes.

But they need help on that line NOW and a rookie would take time to develop. I mean no name runningbacks were posting near 200 yard games against the Jets last year. I think if this was a necessary trade but I hope for the Jets sake he doesn't turn into another Kimo Van Oppenheimer (sorry I couldn't remember his name so I replaced it with the word my name substituted which happened to be the guy who...well you know.)

Exactly. They needed immediate help at the position and Jenkins provides it.

He may only be a stopgap, but if he can tackle a running back every now and then, he'll be well worth it.
