NY Jets vs. KC Chiefs

In 2007 conclusions for both teams, the (3-12) New York Jets meet the Kansas City Chiefs (4-11), in a game that means more for April's draft than anything else.

The Jets are on a three game losing streak, but they return home to Giants Stadium (note, the Giants/Pats play on the same field less than 24 hours before) where they haven't won since before Thanksgiving.

If Chad Pennington plays for the Jets, this could very well be his final game as a Jet.

Re: NY Jets vs. KC Chiefs

I see a lot of gambling in this game. Coaches will be going for it on 4 th and 30 to make it look like they are trying to go out on a win,but they want to lose to move a spot up in the draft order. I say the Chiefs play the worst and get the loss.

The Jets beat the Chiefs, 13-10. In the process, they dropped down to the 6th overall pick in April's draft.

Even when the Jets win, they lose. Does this cost them a shot at Darren McFadden now?

Re: NY Jets vs. KC Chiefs

Almost certainly. If five teams don't want him, then something must be wrong. Figure a QB, RB, OT and DE will definitely be taken ahead of the Jets. It's just a matter of who they think is the top guy available.

Re: NY Jets vs. KC Chiefs

Typical Jets-when they win they lose. They need to upgrade at QB. Pennington and Klemens are not pro quarterbacks. At where they are picking, they should get a good one in Ryan, Woodson, or Brohm. But McFadden seems out of reach.

I would go with Woodson. Ryan is OK, but I think Woodson will be the better pro. I have never been that impressed with Brohm. I would even think of taking Dixon before Brohm if he comes back healthy.

Cool Re: NY Jets vs. KC Chiefs

I'm beginning to believe all of these picks are crap shoots. Unless, it's a lock like Elway, 3 or 6 is almost like the same pick.
