Cool Re: NYJets want to draft Cutler

I've been hearing so many different things about the Jets, I can honestly say I have no idea what they're going to do.

Re: NYJets want to draft Cutler

They just have so many holes too fill. But there offensive line is solid so drafting a quarterback/runningback is well advised.
Personally, I think they have to draft one of these three, and with there second pick in the first round they can probably/potentially draft Maroney, White, Williams or Calhoun. All four are potential difference makers.
Mangini is a former defensive coordinator so do not expect this to happen. Which would be fine, there are a lot of holes on the defensive side as well.

Re: NYJets want to draft Cutler

Even though I want the Jets to draft a quarterback, I have to admit that they don't really need one with Pennington and Ramsey.

If they don't go for a QB and D'Brickshaw Ferguson is available, they should probably just draft him. He's a guy they could plug in at tackle for 10 years.

Re: NYJets want to draft Cutler

Either would be a good pick - the kind of player you could plug in immediately and he would make his group better instantly. You wouldn't get that with any of the QBs, I don't believe. They'd need time to learn the offense. I am a little surprised to learn that they're not real high on any of the top 3 QBs, though. Brodie Croyle's name has been tossed about as a possible 2nd or 3rd round pick to them. Think that's how they'll go?
