NY Jets vs. Miami Dolphins

The usually exciting match-up between rivals may not have that flair as in years past. Both teams are 0-2 and looking for hope that they can still contend for the playoffs.

The Jets expect Chad Pennington to start. If he gets off to a slow start or anything like that, expect the home fans to make their voices heard in regards to Kellen Clemons. Right or wrongly.

Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown only has 22 carries for 65 yards. Ouch. The Jets will look to keep him out of the endzone.

The positive, the loser of this game shouldn't be alone at 0-3 in the AFC East, the Bills play in New England.

My prediction, Gang Green find their first win of the season.

I agree. Miami is an absolute mess right now. Green's been completely off target with his throws - 4 INTs last week, and even some of his completions were thanks solely to the efforts of Chambers and his wide receivers. I can't tell you how many times I saw guys have to go up to make a catch and take a huge hit in the process. This Dolphins team is in trouble.

Miami has shown some flashes of success with Cams offense. But they need to get it going on a more consistant basis. Strange that Brown has so few attempts when the RB normally plays a critical role in this offense. If Green is off as much this week as he was last week do you think we may get a look at Lemon or maybe even Beck?

RVF...do you think they would sit Green so early? I don't.

But perhaps if the offense doesn't click, they may have to try something drastic to shock it.

Forget Green. Personally, I think the running game is the bigger concern right now. Establishing a running game would do a lot to loosen up those defensive coverages they're facing. Not saying Green is blame free here because he has looked bad, but getting Brown going would remedy a lot of what is wrong with the Fins.

Chatman has looked good when he has been in the game. I believe Brown has the ability to be the featured back for the Dolphins, but he seems to run lazy sometimes. But Im hopeful that Miami will get things going this week.
