Qb?

If the Jets chose to draft a quarterback in the upcoming NFL Draft, who would start the season? Can they rely on Chad Pennington after all the injuries he has suffered in the past seasons? Or will they depend on a rookie quarterback and Patrick Ramsey to lead the way?

My money is on Pennington starting. He has a proven (though injured prone tack record)...Ramsey jsut doesn't impress me...and I would have the rookie sit a spell...someone has to hold that darn clip board.

Cool Re: Qb?

I'd be shocked if Pennington started the season. They took a public beating last year for "rushing" him back off of his arm injury. Plus I think this new regime is trying to put their own stamp on this team. My bet is on Ramsey. they can always go to Pennington a few games into the season if Ramsey isn't any good.

Re: Qb?

It seems like if they have the opportunity to get Young, Cutler or Leinhart with their draft pick (is it 4th or 5th?) then it is a smart move. If not for this upcoming year than for the next 9-10. Just a little possible insurance for the future.

Insurance for the future?

So you're telling me that Jets fans have to wait until the Jets become good?

But you tell me it will be in the next 9-10 years...I'll put that on my calendar!
