Who do you think the New York Jets will select in the first round of the upcoming NFL draft?

Good question. We've talked about this some already on the boards - see Jets Draft Leinart #1? - but its been such a fluid situation with them, its kind of hard to say for sure. It'll likely be a QB, but I wouldn't rule out them going for one of the two top OTs either, Ferguson or Justice.

Which QBs in the draft have potential of becoming a franchise quarterback?

Ah, now that's the million dollar question there, isn't it. Hard to say for sure if any of them will actually turn out to be Peyton Mannings or Ryan Leafs. Leinart is probably the safest bet. Young is a physical marvel with a lot of questionmarks, and I'm not sold on Cutler. Whitehurst and Croyle are 2nd or 3rd rounders who may have a lot of upside.

What do you think turned off the team the most?

With Young, I think his unorthodox mechanics have scared some teams. However, I still think more teams than not have him as the #1 QB simply because he's so talented and what he did in the Rose Bowl.

I've read where teams even like Cutler over Leinart.

I expect the Jets draft board to look something like this...

1) Leinart
2) Ferguson
3) Young
4) Cutler

I completely agree.

Of course Vince Young will put more people into the seats at the Meadowlands, but overall Leinhart is the best QB.

People like Vince Young because he is so athletic and has the same game-style of Michael Vick. But Leinhart is professional and doesn't focus that much on being flashy. His stats and game-style attract teams.
