Cool NFL - Jets 2006 Schedule

1) @ Tennessee
2) NE
3) @ Buffalo
4) Indy
5) @ Jags
6) Miami
7) Detroit
@ Cleveland
9) Bye
10) @ NE
11) Chicago
12) Houston
13@GB
14) Buffalo
15) Mnnesota
16)@Miami
17) Oakland

This is much more manageable than last year. If they could go 3-3 the first 6,the rest is a cakewalk. They even play Chicago at home. This is why there are so many surprises in the NFL. You think a team is bad and than they get an easy schedule and the make the playoffs. Like the Giants last year. This year the Giants schedule is brutal and the Jets is easier.

Re: NFL - Jets 2006 Schedule

Considering the state of the Jets right now, I hardly think Detroit (with Kitna or McCown at QB), Cleveland (with all of the improvement they've made in the offseason), New England (still got Brady), Houston (Eric Moulds AND Reggie Bush added to the lineup) or at Miami (assuming Culpepper's healthy) are "a cakewalk". Winnable, perhaps, but its not going to be all that easy.

Cool Re: NFL - Jets 2006 Schedule

Cakewalk was the wrong word. I know better than anyone that NOTHING ever with the Jets is a cakewalk. But compared to last year's schedule, this one is much easier.

Re: NFL - Jets 2006 Schedule

True, it does look potentially easier. Still, it makes me wonder how they will fare against some of these clubs. The Browns, for example, did a much better job rebuilding during the offseason. And the Lions and Texans could be surprises with all of the new faces on their rosters. I just wonder how the Jets will match up with them.
