The Jets have signed CB Andre Dyson to a 5-year deal worth over $11 Million with a $3 Million bonus.

He'll move right into the starters role that opened once Ty Law left town.

There's one position that won't have as much emphasis on in the draft...at least in the 1st round.

When healthy Dyson did great for the Seahawks last year. Problem was he missed way to many games. If he was healthy the Seahawks wound't have cut him. If he can stay on the field Dyson will be a great pickup for the Jets. If he keeps tweaking his legs he will just be a big paycheck sitting on the sidelines. I think it is worth the risk though. 5 years, 11 mil isn't a ton of money for a starting corner.

Dyson is a good corner but even good corners will be exposed if you don't have a good pass rush. Time will tell how the departure of John Abraham affects the Jets pass defense. Dewayne Robertson needs to step it up big time and play like the star he was supposed to be when he came out of college.
